FeelBetterTherapy.ie may suspend, withdraw, discontinue or change all or any part of the Site without notice. 7.2 FeelBetterTherapy.ie has the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.
7.3 If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your user identification code or password, you must promptly notify us at contact@feelbettertherapy.ie
ONLINE THERAPY SERVICES AND USE OF THE WEBSITE
8.1 The website FeelBetterTherapy.ie facilitates the provision of mental health support through the use of various methods of digital communication including desktop computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone or any other device any of which can support online counselling and online therapy directly between the therapist and the client. This online counselling can take place by way of, but not restricted to, telephone counselling, video counselling but may also include communication between the therapist and the client by way of email and instant messaging. The role of FeelBetterTherapy.ie is strictly limited to facilitating the initial contact between the user and the therapist so as to enable the provision of online therapy to the user by the therapist.
8.2 All of the therapists at FeelBetterTherapy.ie are self employed and as such are regulated by their respective professional regulatory body.
8.3 Each therapist at FeelBetterTherapy.ie will have their own terms and conditions and any therapeutic contract will be formed between the client and the individual therapist.
8.4 The therapy relationship is strictly between the therapist and the user and FeelBetterTherapy.ie has no involvement in the substance of the therapy services or online therapy provided by the therapist.
8.5 Users of FeelBetterTherapy.ie should be aged 18 years or older.
8.5 FeelBetterTherapy.ie provides no warranty or endorsement as to the therapist’s ability or competency to provide online counselling or therapy services.
8.6 FeelBetterTherapy.ie provides no guarantee that any therapist is correctly matched to the user’s needs or that the user will find the therapy services relevant, satisfactory or suitable for them.
8.7 FeelBetterTherapy.ie will not accept any liability for any loss or damage resulting from any contract or work with the therapist.
8.8 Any complaint against the therapist should in the first instance be raised directly with the therapist and, if necessary, brought to the respective therapist’s professional organization.
8.9 All of the therapists at FeelBetterTherapy.ie are members of one or more of the key counselling, psychotherapy and psychology professional bodies operating in Ireland.
8.10 Users of FeelBetterTherapy.ie have full responsibility for the maintenance and protection of the digital communication equipment they use to interact with both the website and therapists at FeelBettertherapy.ie. This includes the installation of updating of any security software, firewalls and virus protection as well as ensuring the confidentiality of their online counselling sessions at their end of communications during a consultation with any of our therapists.
8.11 Regarding applicable law, the work or sessions agreed between the user and the therapist are undertaken in accordance with the laws of the practitioner’s own country in this case Ireland. This applies regardless of the location of the user and whether or not this is outside of the Irish jurisdiction.
8.12 FeelBetterTherapy.ie is not intended to be a substitute for a licensed qualified professional and you should not disregard, avoid or delay in obtaining medical advice from a doctor or other healthcare professional because of information you receive through the website or during an online counselling session.
8.13 If you are thinking about suicide or have given any thought to taking any action which could harm yourself or others, or if you feel that you or any other person may be in danger or if you have a medical emergency you must call Emergency Services 112 or 999 or go to your nearest Emergency Department. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
9.1 FeelBetterTherapy.ie is the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Site, and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.
9.2 You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our Site for your personal use and you may draw the attention of others to content posted on our Site.
9.3 You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.
