I am a Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapist. It is my belief that every one can find their own path to the future they desire. We are all essentially self healing, self directed and instinctively know how to achieve our optimum psychological growth. It’s just that we sometimes get stuck or encounter difficulties along the way. My role as a therapist is to facilitate this process, to help resolve issues and encourage you to take control of your destiny and overcome difficulties in a self-directed manner.

I am a Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapist who integrates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my practice.

I am a fully accredited IACP Counsellor & Psychotherapist, a qualified Guidance Counsellor and Life Coach. Over the past three decades I have worked with teenagers, couples, families, groups and individuals who needed to find a way to deal with troubles and cope with all that life can bring to our days. I help people going through stress, anxiety,depression, separation and divorce, addiction or eating disorders, sexual issues, panic attacks, OCD manic episodes and a myriad of other trauma.
I have counselled people dealing with issues around infertility or coping with disability or the illness or death of loved ones. I use an integrated approach matching the type of tools that I am using with the needs of the person in front of me, meeting with you to help you solve your own issue and find contentment in your life and work. I have worked in the field of education for the past 30 years as a manager in Youthreach, as a teacher, a Guidance Counsellor and a Deputy Principal in a DEIS secondary school. I am currently chairperson of the William Glasser Institute of Ireland and am a supervisor for Guidance Counsellors in North Dublin and on the sub-committee for supervision in the IGC.

I am a Psychotherapist who holds a Masters in Psychology, a Masters in Counselling Psychology. I offer a therapy space which is friendly, calm and purposeful. A space to explore, understand and process thoughts, feelings and experiences. I use a solution focused and integrated approach to support my clients mental, physical, emotional and social wellbeing. These modalities include person-centred, cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, mindfulness and psycho-education. My experience ranges from Public to Private Practice having worked for Charities, Community Centres, the NHS and Priory Hospitals. In this time, I have supported clients with a broad range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, low mood, relationship issues, self destructive behaviours, personal growth, anger and trauma. Ultimately, my aim is to encourage self-esteem, autonomy and choices, making my clients' experiences less restricted by feelings, empowering them to think openly about what is happening and to work out how to move forward.

I am a retired nurse and a fully qualified and IACP accredited therapist. I am a Person Centred and Relationship Therapist integrating other therapeutic approaches when required.
My speciality is bereavement, miscarriage, infertility but I work with a broad range of issues that cause emotional distress. My interest in Counselling evolved from my previous work in Hospice care and I bring all of the caring aspects of my prior nursing career into the therapy environment for the benefit of my clients. I believe in the uniqueness of the individual and I journey alongside my clients to achieve their potential and goals. I am also interested in Mindfulness and have qualifications in Bio Energy Therapy and Neuro Linguistic Counselling.

I have considerable experience in dealing with a broad range of issues through Private Practice, Organisational support and EAP (Employee Assistance Programme) provision. In addition I lecture part time in Counselling and Psychotherapy at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
